FRIDAY :

BAWDY SONGS & Ballads with Bay Folk Club from 8.30 ish in Ye Dolphin, King Street R H Bay.

Baytown Players PANTOMIME:                “Humpty Dumpty” in the Village Hall, 7.30 pm. Bookings only.

LIVE MUSIC at the Grosvenor Hotel

SATURDAY :

Children's Treasure Hunt from 10 am to 4 pm. Starting from Birkby Cottage on Chapel Street. FREE for children of all ages. N.B. Saturday Only.

Various Stalls, inc. Fortune Telling and RNLI Cards & Gifts 10 - 3.30 upstairs in the Old Coastguard Station, R H Bay.

Art Exhibition and SPINNING Demonstration in the Men's Institute, 10 am to 4 pm.

MUSEUM OPEN (Free admission)  10 - 4 on Fisherhead, R H Bay. With talks on Shipwrecks and Smuggling.

MEAD TASTING at Muir Lea Stores, New Road,    R H Bay, 10 - 4.

OLD St. STEPHEN’S CHURCH is open from       11 - 3 “Dead Interesting” - with Mulled Wine.         On bus route.

PAINTINGS EXHIBITION 11 - 3 at Hillcliffe, The Square, R H Bay.

OPEN HOUSE SCHEME. two hour sessions (11 am - 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm). Tickets from The Men's Institute.

SATURDAY  (Continued):

PUNCH & JUDY - Three shows, at 11.30, 1.30 and 2.30 - in the Dock

DONKEY RIDES on Picnic Area or in Laburnum Ave.MULLED WINE & MINCE PIES, at  Cote Bank, 13 Laburnum Ave, (top of bank next to caravan site) from 2.00 to 4.00 pm. Tombola & Craft stalls, proceeds to BHF & Village Hall refurbishment fund. Come and try your luck.

WHITBY COMMUNITY CHOIR will be singing Carols at various locations (pubs and cafés) in the Old Village during the afternoon.

FILM AT SWELL CINEMA, Chapel Street R H Bay, 4.00 pm “SOUTH PACIFIC”

CAROLS AROUND THE TREE - 5.00 pm in the Dock

VISITER RE-ENACTMENT FILM & TALK by ex RNLI Coxswain Peter Thompson 2.00 - 3.30 in the Village Hall

VICTORIAN COSTUME COMPETITION, all age groups.  3.30 for 4.00 pm judging  in Fylingdales Village Hall.

CONKER COMPETITION at 3 pm in Ye Dolphin, with mulled wine and mince pies (and conkers provided!).

TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION -  4. 30 pm at Bay Bank Top

CAROLS AROUND THE TREE - 5.00 pm in the Dock

SURVIVORS’ SUPPER 7.00 pm at the Bay Hotel (Bookings only).
